Ending of 2011

 2011 Ended with a bang.  We had a fantastic Christmas and Holiday season.  We went to several parties and spent lots of time with family.  This is at the ward Christmas party which was fun and full of good food and Santa.

 I love the above picture.  This year we had so much fun with Ben home.

 Dirk is a ham and even though he doesn't have a large vocabulary, he communicates really quite well with his facial expressions.

 Santa was told what was wanted and he didn't disappoint.  Bike Christmas!

 For our biggest, and best, party that we attended, The Excell Christmas Tea and Recital, Dirk fell asleep.  What two year old falls asleep for the big Christmas party with Santa?  It was not like we were quiet, the opposite really, I tried pretty hard to wake him up.  Playing with his cousins at grandma's house just tuckered him out that day.

 Ben and I got we wanted for Christmas.  We got to spend it together!

 See the mistletoe in the upper left corner?  Well I got a nice slobbery kiss from Ax.  He kisses me often and afterwards I need a towel to wipe off my cheek.

 Ax was a bugger nosed baby Christmas morning.

 It was awesome to watch the boys open their presents this year.  I think Christmas is better as a parent than as a child.  Magical!

Dirks big present from mom and dad!  I don't know to many two year old who gets a wrestling dummy for Christmas but then again I don't know to many two year olds like Dirk.  If I could have my wish I would have a gym room in my house with mats, balls, cones and everything that would make a P.E. teachers day.  One day maybe?

2011 was big for us.  We:

Had a baby

Finished a deployment

Lived in a trailer for a month

Moved to another state, again

Bought a motorcycle

Bought a land cruiser

Got a promoted

Started preschool

Got burglarized
