Down Hill

We just passed the half way point of deployment.  It has caused me to reflect a lot on 2010 and the first half of this experience.  I have learned a lot more than I thought that I would during this time.

  • I absolutely Love the Love of my life and am beyond lucky to have such an amazing man to be my eternal companion.
  • Everyone has melting points, learning mine has been a big part of learning about myself.
  • I can not watch scary shows by myself anymore.
  • People can't help you if you don't let them know you need help.  I think this is one of the ways that the Lord wants us to be humble.  It is hard but asking for help allows others to serve, or not but lets them make that choice.
  • I have a wonderful family, no doubt about that.  Thanks everyone for all the help and love you give me and mine.
  • I can handle a whole lot more than I ever thought that I could.
  • Though it might sound strange I know that our little family is going to be stronger and closer because of deployment.
  • What you can do is enough, still learning this one.  That is all that is asked of us, Christ makes up the rest.
I think that 2011 is going to be great and end on a high note for me.  Also it is all down hill from here, right?
