Today I decided to have a 'fun' day with Austen and Dirk (instead of feeling bad that Ben didn't get to come home). After we watched Saturday morning cartoon we started the fun day by going on a hike up Ramsey Canyon which is a wildlife preserve.
It was a beautiful hike and we had a ball. There where several old houses on the trail which Austen told me where his. 
This is how Dirk spent the very bumpy hike, what a good little trooper I have!
After we turned around to go back down I let Austen loose from the stroller, man that kid likes to run.
The wildlife that Austen saw:-Couche Deer (they are really small, the baby one we saw was the size of a small dog)
-Lots of different kinds of butterflies
-Squirrel
-Wild Turkeys (for some reason Austen insisted that they where peacocks)
-Lots of different kinds of hummingbirds (some had green backs and others had orange heads, new to me)
-Several colours of lizards, including black
-We heard lots of birds (apparently this hike is a big bird watchers hike)
-homosapians
Then we went to the Oktober fest and had lunch. I didn't know but this festival is all about Germans. We watched them dance then we ate funny food. My favorite is that they had several different kinds of beer that you could taste straight from their coolers, I have never seen a cooler tapped before.
On our way home we bought some awesome 'mega blocks' then built several castles and custom made shoes, Austen is sporting his new blue shoe!
To end the fun day we went to the ward activity; Movie, hotdogs and popcorn. I had a good day with my two little guys.

What a fun day! That video is so cute. Austen's hilarious. And Dirk is so good to just chill wherever he is. You're getting good use out of that B.O.B!
