So I almost blinded my child today.
Austen came to help me get gas in the truck before we went to the park and he usually gets the squeegy and cleans what he can reach, well not today. Instead while I was putting my credit card back in my wallet B.A. pulled the gas pump out of the car while it was still going and turned it to face him. As quickly as I could I grabbed it and turned it off leaving both B.A. and myself soaked in gas, I then grabbed my now screaming child. I pinned his dripping arms down and got the key to the restrooms as fast as I could. I rinsed and rinsed his little eyes for what seemed like a very long time and soaped off his face and arms. The owner of the store then gave me a new bottle of visine, which lead to more screaming but helped. Austen did get a couple of suckers after the tramatic experience, only to be allowed to eat them after another visine rinse. We stunk of gas but still went to the park, as I promised. The whole thing scared me to death but Austen is my tough little boy.

I'm glad Austen is doing well. What a tuff kid.
