Dirk is getting bigger everyday, and funner too. Recently he learned how to drink out of a camel pak, which I love since we have the bottles and backpacks. It makes going places much easier and less messy since I am not a huge fan of lugging around sippy cups. 
Dirk also now has 6 teeth and likes to bite things, mostly toys and the table. He can stand by himself and walks along furniture. He's starting to figure things out, like putting lids on containers, and drawing with chalk. He mad yells when he can't do something that he wants to do, like reach a toy or open his water bottle. He also chatters and is always saying 'dadadadadadada' which Ben promptly says what to. He has also noticed that we eat different food than him and wants some of what we have. He will eat all his baby food and then a whole lot of our food. He LOVES to eat and cookies are his favorite. Our little cookie monster is getting bigger. We are excited to see what his first word will be. Any guesses?
